What is Hysteroscopic Morcellation?

This method uses a blade inserted through a hysteroscope that simultaneously cuts and aspirates tissue. The TRUCLEAR Hysteroscopic Morcellator is specifically indicated to remove polyps and submucous fibroids.
A Simple Procedure
 |
Insert the hysteroscope into the uterus. |
| |
|
 |
Inflate the uterus with saline. |
| |
|
 |
Locate polyps or fibroids. |
| |
|
 |
Place blade against polyp or fibroid and activate. The TRUCLEAR Morcellator will simultaneously cut and aspirate tissue. |
| |
|
 |
Remove the morcellator and hysteroscope from the uterus. |
The TRUCLEAR Hysteroscopic Morcellator is a first-of-its kind device that pairs the visualization capabilities of a hysteroscope with minimally invasive tissue removal capabilities, allowing a fast and thorough capture and removal of intrauterine polyps and fibroids. Unlike other treatment options that use a high-frequency electric current, the TRUCLEAR Hysteroscopic Morcellator uses a simple mechanical approach to remove fibroids and polyps.
Clear operative field
- Continuous hysteroscopic outflow and suction helps maintain clear operative field
- No tissue floating within the uterine cavity
Safe, gentle resection
- Simple, mechanical design eliminates the risk of energy discharge-induced scarring and reduces the risk of air or gas emboli
- Localized treatment minimizes endometrial damage, which may help preserve the chances of pregnancy
- Proprietary suction control optimizes system fluid flow, intrauterine pressure and device capability
Efficient procedure
- Continuous cutting and tissue removal means only a single insertion is necessary
- Single insertion means fewer procedural steps
Effective pathology removal
- Targeted pathology removal under continuous visualization ensures efficient cut and capture
- Tissue capture allows evaluation of entire pathology
